Dinnertime Watch-Cat

Allie: See anything yet, Maxie?

Maxwell: *sigh* No ... nothing.

Maxwell: Wait. Is that ...?

Nope. Not them.
They did say they were coming home from work on time today, didn't they?

Not that I'm borrowing trouble or anything ... but my tummy's growling.

Allie: Well, we could always open the cabinet and rip into the bonito flakes.
And blame it on Faraday when they come in.

Maxwell: That's, uh, kind of devious, Allie.

Allie: Yes, but completely in character for him, thus a workable ruse.
(Hmm. Who knew I'd actually pick up a few pointers from the Brat? Is that Hell I hear freezing over?)

  7. You guys, even when your humans work at home, like ours, it doesn't mean dinner will arrive on time!

  13. Maybe you could put in place a system of fines for when they are late? To be paid in treats?

  14. If my mom is late with dinner, cat bro Bert goes into the half bath and shreds the toilet paper to show his anger!
