Knitting in Public, Anyone?

Maxwell: So Saturday's Knit in Public Day again, I see.

And in examining this pile of knitting, it would appear that no progress has been made since I first investigated in 2015.

Hrm. Perhaps forcing it into the public eye might shame someone into advancing the project?

Or I suppose I might try my paw at it again.
Let's see, was it 'fang one, perl two'?

Or maybe I'll just sit this one out. Those sharp pointy ends look as dangerous as my fangs fang.

Hold on a sec....
Is this one of those dangerous Contact Sports?

  1. Hahahahaha! Looks exactly like my abandoned knitting project, only mine has white yarn! Maxwell, once Angel and Chuck came home, they attacked the yarn and the needles, so I stopped knitting. Guess I could dust it off and try again?

  2. For about three years, I worked on a piece I only took out of the bag for National Knit in Public Day. I did that because the Cats would go with me to my public spot and everyone would just ask about the Cats and not what project I was working. #Diversion

  4. I'm infamous for getting excited about projects but never finishing them. I tried to knit a few times and let's just say that it wasn't my forte. Oh, handsome Maxie ... I swoon at those gorgeous close-up pictures of you :)

  5. Our mom does NOT knit! Actually, she doesn't do anything creative.

  6. You know what you could do, Maxwell? Why not just sit on that blue "knitting." That is after you persuade the human to remove the pointy things, 'cause apparently the pointy things are no longer being used for anything. Tee hee hee! The public will know that you, not the human, knitted it with your own two paws anyway.

  7. I failed at learning how to knit so I can't help you. Is it a blanket for you??

  18. Maxie back away from the knitting - even though it appears it's an "endless project" (my Mom has a bunch of those too!), you might get in trouble if you give it the fang test. Trust me on that.

  19. My Mom said she knew basic knitting when she was a kid, but hasn't done it since. Here eyes are too bad to do it now. Maybe you can just end that project where it is, stuff it, sew it up and have a giant kicker toy.

  23. Haha! My cats also love when I'm crocheting. They're lying on me, on my handmade thing and playing with yarn :D I's crazy, but I love it, they'r so positive, that I can forgive them even if they destroy something ;)
