Then 19.3 when they brought him home. Now he's an oldster, but through diet and exercise (and some age), he's less than 13. :)meowmeowmanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12513539249219283256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6230122208316058154.post-50780288509284607782012-12-16T17:33:47.360-06:002012-12-16T17:33:47.360-06:00Such an important topic! Our vet said cats should only lose about 4 lbs per year, they shouldn't lose a lot all at once, that's not healthy either. So, it took a few years, and some changes, but Bailey is now 12 lbs! (which means she can now jump onto the counters!)Tatiana & Baileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09797564788511595247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6230122208316058154.post-19280007321433023972012-12-16T16:55:40.055-06:002012-12-16T16:55:40.055-06:00We all agree over here too! M keeps checking the bags for calorie count, but she has yet to see that on a bag. The vet said to limit my food intake to 1/2 cup a day with a tablespoon of wet food to supplement.
