So I hear that yesterday was the first day of Spring.
But all the green I see are a few weeds (that should have been pulled, Mother) ...
Well, okay, perhaps I do see a few chives coming up. But really.
Is this any way for Spring to treat a lady, I ask you?
I mean, honestly. All this brown is simply unacceptable, wouldn't you agree?

Well, Allie...I'll take overcast and cool/cold over piles of snow and wind, if that's all we are going to get for Spring this year!
ReplyDeleteWe won't be seeing green here for a couple weeks. It takes time for the snow to melt and the mess to go away.
ReplyDeleteIt's SNOWING on my Daffodils and Tulips!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Allow even my catnip is struggling to grow with all this cold weather. You look gorgeous. x😻🐾
ReplyDeleteWe TOTALLY agree!! catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeletemy stars allie I do agree but must state the greenery may not be a weed after all but a FABulous form of some type of flower or you can always pretend it is with hugs from dai$y =^..*= ♥♥
ReplyDeleteHope ya get some spring soon!
ReplyDeleteI hope spring arrives by the time I come to BlogPaws!
ReplyDeleteAnd you are all lady - Allie, from your pretty white gloves to your gray gown and eye jewels. Are you planning a garden tea party with petit four nip treats? Purrs.
ReplyDeleteWe totally agree, Allie. Spring is playing hide and seek with us too. Purrs
ReplyDeleteI am wondering that too? :)
ReplyDeleteWell, all our spring is buried under 5 inches of new snow! That just is not fair to kitties who want to hang out on the catio! Hope you don't see any snow now that spring is here. ReplyDeleteNo complaining allowed, Allie! There's a foot of snow in my yard :( --Mudpie
ReplyDeleteIt may be spring, but someone forgot to tell Mother Nature.
ReplyDeleteWe had another stupid blizzard today, so we're wondering the same thing, Allie!
ReplyDeleteI so agree, but mum did see a flower bud showing today.
ReplyDeleteWell, Allie, here on th west coast of Michigan, my woman's chives have yet to peep out of the dead chive cover. (mom had better remove the dry stuff soon . . .)
ReplyDeleteSame situation here, Allie. It's COLD!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Tama-Chan
Um, Allie, you could be in New England and under two feet of snow
ReplyDeleteAnd our forecast even now in April has snow. Drat. that means no sun puddles and chilly times ahead.
