The Great Escape!

Maxie opened the back door for me yesterday.
It was PAWESOME.

I ran under the deck and wouldn't come out.
Except to sniff the catnip.

Nice herb garden, Mommy!

(Allie sniffs Faraday's Da Bird as "bait")

HEY ALLIE! Get away from that! It's MINE!
(Oh BTW Mommy, your housecleaning skills under the deck: FAIL)

What do you mean, "AHA, now I got you!"?

  2. Ahhhhhhh freedom... but you wouldn't want to be out there without someone watching out for you. It's just wonderful to have someone who wants you to come back in...

    Have a great day.

    pawhugs, Max

    1. *sigh...* Sadly, Mommy doesn't let us out E-V-E-R. This was my Houdini act (with help from Maxwell, who opened the door)

I did, however, make Mommy work to get me back inside. For about 20 minutes. MOL!

    1. Um...kinda...not really. We never EVER get to go out. Something ridiculous about us boys not being well behaved or sumpin', *eyeroll*.

  6. Your mom has grown a GREAT herb garden. The peep laughed when you stopped to smell the nip growing next to that rose. I don't know why... Makes perfect sense to me!

    1. We was kinda surprised that Mommy didn't freak out more, except she & Daddy had me cornered under the deck. (Prime reason #1 that I did NOT come out!)

    1. Oh no! I never get to go out! Maxwell opened the door while mommy wasn't looking! She spent 20 minutes trying to coax me out from under the deck. Every time she got near, I ducked back under. She had to bring Allie out to play with my da Bird to trick me into coming out!

  15. That was quite an adventure, Faraday! Once all THREE of us kitties wandered out the back kitchen door when it wasn't quite all the way shut. My human caught us 'cause she saw my tail disappearing through the open door. And you know what? She ordered us to come right back in... and we all obeyed!

  17. It looks like your mom trusts you a lot more than ours would ever trust us! We don't "come" for anything!

    1. Maxwell: (confides in a whisper) it was really an act of desperation, pulling out Da Bird. Faraday was wearing momma down!
