Here's a creative and cool idea for a kid's room that could easily be translated into a kitty superhighway art installation.

Simply add a park bench into the lower left of the milieu to help give your kitties a leg up - perhaps adjust that first branch down a bit - and voila! Kitty superhighway cum artistic mural.
