The U.S. is now officially two outstanding TV ads behind the Brits so far this year... and it's only March!
You've probably seen the way cool #SingitKitty spot filmed for British telecom company, Three. It's been all over facebook and twitter, and Katie & Waffles did an excellent feature on it yesterday.
Here's the second one, again with a hashtag. (#catandbudgie)
It was released just a few days ago and was created by the agency that makes all our Hallmark Hall of Fame ads. You know, the ones that make you cry? (yeah, you know they do... ;-)
We think the folks at Leo Burnett are pretty talented. What say you?
(P.S. They even worked a bachelor with a cat into the storyline of one of our spots a bit ago. We'll have to show it to you sometime.)
Oh and now that you've seen the spot, can you tell the budgie in yesterday's cat art post was FrankenBudgie? Yeah he was WAY too big for the photo's scale. But hey, we figured he needed the advantage over Faraday.

MOL! That sure was something! Thank you for sharing - I needed a smile today! Purrs from the Zee and Zoey Gang!
ReplyDeletePurrs back at you! We grabbed mommy & told her she needed to give us some catchup visit time, so we're dying to see the rest of the gang's Seuss hats today!!
DeleteLove it and I was even tapping my toes! What a fun video!!
ReplyDeletePawsome!
ReplyDeleteThat was fun and very cool :)
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure,JJ
and Angels Tiger and Tillie
We do come up with some good ads when we want to.Have a serene Sunday and get some big easy in today.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Even Gloman was giggling with delight over this clever video!
ReplyDeleteWe agree...the US really needs to step up their game in the advertising department!
Allie: Mother keeps going back between the two. She can't decide which one she likes best!! The little girl's energy is hard to beat, but this one is more obvious as far as who the ad is for (MOL!).
DeleteFurry cute video ♡ and funny too :)
ReplyDeleteXOXO
We've watched that video 5 times and we still love it! Brilliant work!
ReplyDeletePsst Faraday! You might want to stop having that FrankenBudgie on your head. It could take out your brains if he sneezed! Those feet of his look like talons!
Faraday: MOWZERS. Uh, Mommy? Little help over here pleez...?
DeleteIt's great the Brits can be ahead on something!! MOL ;) Love this. It's all over the TV !!
ReplyDeleteI posted it about a week ago on Facebook :) It is definitely my FAVE!
ReplyDeleteHi Caren, we didn't see it, rats! Usually we're up on all of Leo's new productions. You must have found it right after it released, they posted a mid-Feb release date. We saw it on Molly the Wally's blog, too, last night - right after we'd scheduled this post! We think it's WAY cool!!
DeleteOohhh... Do you think they're casting? Peepers, little more powder on my nose, okay? Sorry 'bout that. Just doin' a little pre-audition preenin'.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Nissy
Nissy, something tells us at this rate, Canada will SO trump the U.S. with a cat advert. You should TOTALLY go to the casting call! Preen away!! WOOT!
DeleteI LOVED this. Thank YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteso was this was the inspiration behind your arthop yesterday?
ReplyDeleteSure was! Of course, FrankenBudgie is a bit *ahem* larger than the TV one, MOL!
DeleteThis is utterly and totally BRILLIANT!!!! We are grinning and almost crying at the same time - craxy mum huh?
ReplyDeleteSilver Kitten
PS we think your #RecipeForMoments is a real winner
I like both these ads. We have been getting some good ones lately.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a great commercial. I count on blogs and FB to see ads since TW and I don’t watch TV. Pop only watches sickening stuff. Heh heh! Sorry about that.
ReplyDeleteLike, wow... wish we had more good commercials like that over in the USA.
ReplyDeleteThat was cute. I think we need a budgie here... for research purposes *innocent eyes*
ReplyDeleteSeriouslies! Us too!
DeleteWe have seen that before and it's just great :) xxoxxx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
