Intruder Alert! #sponsored

When last we left our intrepid felines, they were engaged in a heated debate on who might have the use of the coveted Vimtag camera first:

Allie or Maxwell?

Maxwell: Being a Scholar and a Gentlecat, Allie, I will graciously allow you the use of the camera first.

Faraday: Here, let me translate that for our readers.

Basically Allie threatened to do her patented Crouching Girlcat Hidden Whupa$$™ move on him if he didn't let her have the camera first.

Maxwell: FARADAY! DOOD. *embarrassed look*

Faraday: Well, the truth hurts, sometimes, Maxie. Be a mancat about it and all, okays? (and because we all suffer if she doesn't get her beauty sleep....)

Allie: True. I have not been sleeping lately. Being vigilant for Intruders has had a negative impact on my nap time.  And I might get a teensy bit out of sorts.

Faraday: Seriouslies, you do not want to see Allie's Grouchy Face.

(you were warned...!)

So, what did Allie do with the Vimtag?

It was incredibly easy to identify our surprise guest with our camera. You can turn on motion detection and set the Vimtag to record high definition video footage onto an external microSD card each time it detects motion.

And we got tons of footage. The camera recorded footage ALL.NIGHT.LONG. throughout the evening every time we had a visitor.

Oh, and DOOD.
Seriouslies, you should have called first!
(And, uh, we need to talk to you about your chicken intake. But we digress.)

Allie:  FINALLY. I can rest easy, knowing my Vimtag is on the job.

I've got my eye on you, Waffles.

  9. I wonder how many ferals we would see in one day?!?!?

And here we thought he was locked in the powder room again!
    ; )

  11. Dad had an outside camera to watch our little visitor that he feeds but it died. We would love a Vimtag! Thanks for the great post too. MOL

  12. I would solve the mystery of where Buffy sleeps while I am at work

  13. If I had the Vim tag I could see how 2 of my cats are treating one of my other cat because I suspect there is some bullying go on.

  14. Allie! Is there something you need to tell us?

  15. MOL! Who knew Waffles visits Kansas during the night! We'd love to see what introoder cat(s) and other critters are making all the feety prints on our deck at night. We're crossing our paws we win!

  16. We once had a raccoon (we think) visiting during the night to try to raid our bird feeder. So we MIGHT just be able to prove whether it still comes around. We also would use the camera to see how many times at night the local deer come through our back yard. The camera seems really nifty! Oh, but I don't think that is Waffles - same color, but too fat!

  17. What an awesome capture. I don't think that is Waffles, the tail isn't long enuf.

  18. Did someone say the D word? That's a bad word around here. Waffles looke really "healthy" in that video... - Ashton

  19. I dunno...I think that coulda been Wally. He's definitely been looking kinda pudgy lately. It's from stealing all my food. ~Ernie

  20. Whoa! Didn't he have to travel awfully far?

  21. Great picture show, with such frequent visitors maybe you could charge a fee to use your porch... purrs Erin

  22. Maybe Ari told the orange kitty to come instead as a stand in...who knows who the orangey will mew to, MOL! Clever camera:))

  23. Whoa! I never thought about being able to watch out for the feral kitties that come in our yard with that camera.

Coolio! A comment? For US?
