Shhh! Kitty Thinking...

Yes, this was taken a few weeks ago. Before someone in the family decided to uproot everything in the kitchen so he can sand and refinish the kitchen floor... Daddy.  Maxwell's not been doing much pondering in the kitchen these past few weeks thanks to Very Large and Noisy Equipment being used.

Though he doesn't mind. Especially since loud noises don't bother him. He actually likes hanging around dad when he works. Snoopervising and all that.

But mommy's afraid of all that sawdust getting in his lungs. So he's banished to the back bedroom with the rest of us.

OOH WAIT! We just figured out how we can enter this week's Photo Hunt. Are you ready for this?

Maxwell...is... "tending to his knitting."

  2. We think your pawrents should give you a face mask so you don't breath any dust in while you are snoopervising.

  8. Hi friends. We're sorry about your banishment. Abbi suggests you guys dig a tunnel under the door. You may succeed where she failed. She only got as far as the padding. We're here, still chilly, taking turns (Mama forces us) on Mama's heated mattress pad.

Sorry about the banishment. I certainly hope you're being given extra treats. And I hope there's not too much fighting. I'd hate for Allie to break one of those pink nails.

  23. We absolutely love the term "snoopervising." We hope you won't mind if our human mom uses it sometime. Maxwell you are a brave kitty. We don't even like it when the housekeeper, Chris, comes. And she always brings homegrown catnip. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at www.thecatonmyhead.com, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
