The project that Would. Not. End.

The floor refinishing project that began Jan 4? It was finished in time for the holiday, and the kitties are enjoying the results.

Mostly.

Whaddaya mean, 'no skittering around on the new floor and putting scratches in it'? Those add CHARACTER.

  8. I agree - scratches mean someone lives there and gives the floors some pursonnality. We don't have many kitty scratches but we have several good dog scratches.

  21. What's a wood floor without a little character? Isn't that why humans like them in the first place?

  23. Score! go for it! by the time I moved in here, our wood floors were totally marred. The peeps said when they moved here you could slide through the house on the floors.

  24. Our wood floors are 101 years old but most of the distress has probably come in the past 25+ years from our humans' kitties; even though, kids used to roller skate in the house. Your floors look fabulous and well worth the time it took. Maybe all your kitties need some little booties. MOL.
