Wednesday's Waif: Leila

"Thanks for clicking on my picture! My name is Leila, and I'm an unusual girl.
You see, I'm an orange tabby, and most orange tabbies (about 75 percent) are male."

"But orange is lovely color for girls too, don't you think? It brings out my beautiful green eyes.

I came to Wayside as a stray cat, and I was in pretty bad shape. My gorgeous long fur was matted, and in some places I had scratched so much I irritated my skin.

The people here at Wayside think I must have lived outside on my own for quite awhile. That's no life for a sweet kitty like me!

I'm a talkative kitty who likes to be petted, and I have a great purr. I tend to be shy at first, but if you speak to me softly and pet me gently, I will warm up quickly. I enjoy toys, and my favorite is a toy mouse.

My Felineality is Personal Assistant. That means I'm moderately brave in new situations, and I love people.
