It all began when a nice redheaded lady from Union Hill Studios called our mom and asked if the boys wanted to come over for a visit. (Union Hill is Hallmark Card's premiere photography studio and they're renowned for their prowess behind the lens.)
Mommy said yes. Without consulting us first, we might add....
At least she did her homework. She had calming pheromone diffusers running in our kitchen for days ahead of time (both the Sentry and Feliway brands). She placed two of our cat beds in her car for a whole week, getting our scent all over it real good. And then she clipped a Feliway Wipe to the heater vent as we drove in.
Calming products like Feliway are a synthetic form of a facial pheromone cats use to chemically mark their "space." Using this meant we were totally chill in the car. (Except for Faraday, who was mortified he had to ride in Allie's pink sleepypod.)

When we pulled up, a Maine Coon was just arriving (and you know how they can be), so we decided to hang out in the car for a bit.

Alas, Maxwell had to wait for his closeup. Today was just for taking measurements and stuff.

(she still instructed us to hurl in mommy's shoes - not hers.)
What was that? We didn't tell you what the fitting was for?
Guess you'll have to wait and see. (We promise you won't have to wait long, honest!)

Heee! We're having fun keeping everyone in suspense! The Feliway wipes came from our swag bag at MeowWorld/BarkWorld last week in Atlanta. We didn't know they had them in that form, either, but it sure worked well, clipped to the vent!

That is a lot of fuss for a little car ride...what are you all? Cats? My cat bro Bert loves the car and going anywhere, even the vet. He would be perfect in Hollywood!
