Sunday's Shelter Sweetie: Hal!

"Hey there! I'm Hal. Are you looking for a friendly guy to help you make visitors feel welcome? I'm your guy! I like to meet everybody and inspect what's going on."

"Oh, and is your name Dave, by chance? I've been dying to be adopted by a "Dave" - just think how much fun it would be for me to look you in the eye and say, "I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that." (sorry, a bit of geek-cat humor there!**)

Seriously though - when it comes to playtime, that's just the BEST. I like crawling into, out of, under, and over things. Tunnels are pawesome! Of course, I'd also like to lounge around and hang out with you, too.

One thing....it's a bit embarrassing. When I arrived at Great Plains, the docs noticed that my tail was injured. It couldn't be repaired so to save me future troubles they had to remove it.

I do just fine without it though. I think it makes me unique and is a great conversation starter with all those people I like to meet!

Come on down and visit today!
You just may find me wandering around the cattery greeting visitors as they arrive.

Friendly purrs,
Hal"

**Hal was quoting the computer named Hal from 2001: a Space Odyssey.

    1. We're sure Hal would prefer to have his tail but he came to Great Plains with it degloved - and some suspect it was from abusive treatment, too. Poor Hal!
