Birthday Blues

Dear Maxwell, it hardly seems you could already be five years old!


We're ever so glad we took a scruffy (stinky) little kitten into our home that November day. And we thank you so much for putting up with us those first 5 months, as we (incessantly, it seemed) plied you with medications to make you well again.


You've grown into a handsome mancat! We love those piercing blue eyes...


The intense focus you give any and all wand toys. Even the teensy little 'mewp!' you have for a meow, that politely begs for playtime.


And even though we're sorry as can be that you've had to have so many teeth removed, we adore the goofy range of expressions you never tire of giving us.


...yeah, that one, too.

    Have the best birthday EVER, sweet boy!!! And I'm very glad that I've already arrived at my destination and that we're hundreds of miles apart if you're on the road ;) Although, with the way most people drive nowadays, how much worse can it be, right?
