If you're ever in the market for a new lens for your camera, I highly recommend the 24-70mm.
(Huge thanks to Gloman and Glogirly who helped me choose which one to invest in!)
The photos below were cropped - and otherwise left untouched. I'm looking forward to using it outdoors, too ... once the weather turns warmer.
Oh, and I think this is probably Ball = 1, Faraday = 0.
That final photo is amazing. We are never able to get good action shots. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Yippee for new lens! We thought maybe someone there was playing with it... Faraday, we're looking at you. Awesome ball shot! We can't wait to see more of these action shots!
Faraday just can't quite get a handle on his ball ;) I have no eye for photography - which makes it so hard for me to figure out settings, etc. But I'll take your word for it on the lens and see what's available for my Nikon :)
that is nice. I'm looking for a lens with that kind of range for taking photos of kittens. I have the kit lens that came with the camera, but I know I can do better.
I haven't even figured out all the things my (not that new anymore) Canon point and shoot can do, MOL!!! I think a more sophisticated one would make my head spin! Not that I would not like to have one, Hmmm.....
great pictures....mom SO needs a new camera

ReplyDeleteFarday, some day you'll get that ball! Keep trying!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! We need to get a new camera for the blog and grandbaby photos. LOL!

Gorgeous! That's a super-nice lens. You know that when Gloman and Glogirly recommend it, it's going to be top notch.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Sorry about that darn ball Faraday.
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew *something* about photography...anything...

ReplyDeleteFor my human, new camera stuff is like having a new toy! The photos look good!
ReplyDeleteThe photos look great. Right now we have lenses we like, but I'm sure Mom will want another one one day down the road.
ReplyDeleteWow. It's obviously fast, judging from that last shot. Thanks for the recommendation!
ReplyDeleteVery sharp images. I have a very nice 35mm NIkkor f1.8, but I prefer the flexibility of a zoom lens.
