You might have heard rumors that this year's holiday season is a bit unusual. It's the first time since 1888 that Thanksgiving in the U.S. and the first night of Chanukah converge.
For those who might be interested in observing this most rare of occasions, we present to you:
Loads of lore surround this mysterious beast - and the confluence of the holidays, too. For instance, you may have heard that this will not occur for another 77,000 years. While that's not exactly true (the next occurrence will be in 2070 - provided Thanksgiving is still observed on the fourth Thursday in November at that time) it's still rare enough to be worthy of a unique centerpiece!
