"I'm Furry & I Know It" promo video for TNR

An Israeli TNR group contacted us last weekend with a link to this video and asked us to share. We think they're wonderful for promoting Trap/Neuter/Return in Israel - a country with a huge feral cat population.

Kudos to Tel Aviv - we hear that city is supporting TNR now too!!

This is a parody to the song "I'm Sexy & I  Know It" (full disclosure: contains mild profanity).

(Note: comment moderation has been turned on, as TNR often attracts flame comments. So please be patient if your comment isn't immediately visible. Thanks!)

  1. I featured this video recently too - TNR is awesome! And it really hisses me off that posts about it attracts flame comments - there is no debate about it, as far as I am concerned!

  2. I LOVE this video! What amazes me is that even though these kitties are feral, they're not afraid like I was before coming to live inside with my peeps. Gives me hope - REAL HOPE - that this TNR program will run smoothly. The biggest issue will be funding. Paws crossed!

  3. I thought like Nerissa that the cats seemed well cared for and friendly. Good for Tel Aviv! LOL Caren :)

It’s not just TNR that attracts flame comments. Israel is loathed and hated by so many in Europe. Antisemitism is rife. As a Christian I am sickened and ashamed to be associated with these people. I lived in Jerusalem for a while and loved it and the people :)

  4. What a great video. Now if that practice would only spread like wild fire to all parts of the world - including much of the US. (We're getting better, but have a long way to go).

  5. Me thinks TNR works! We lived in coastal city where many, many groups do TNR. Why? Rats! Coleneys is monitored and fed and they repays the favor by catching the rats. The colonies is healthy as they is monitored by their daily feeders and the the rat population is kept in check.
In our little village, the 3 feral cats that lives here are well taken care of. They performs a valuable service, even if one of them has the occasional fight with me and Kozmo.

  6. I think it's great. I mean, seriously, it's just the most practical thing to do, don't you think? After all, for a country who has limited choices, adoption can sometimes be the least favorable option.

I apologize for my ignorance on this matter but I have to admit that I am also curious why this gets flamed comments.
