Wayside's site is down today, so you'll have to make do with video of this handsome guy.
Meet Decker. He was transferred to Wayside from a shelter in Kansas because he's FIV+. And Kansas is the only state in the nation that does not allow shelters to adopt these guys into forever homes.
So Wayside does what it can to transfer as many FIV+ kitties out of Kansas shelters as we can!
(And we're advocating on behalf of FIV+ cats, to help get Kansas laws changed!)
Decker's a wonderfully sweet guy and he's waiting for his forever family to show up and discover him - at Allie's Alma Mater, Wayside Waifs.
Decker is very handsome! We hope he finds a furever home soon! Phooey on Kansas laws! They need to be changed pronto!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fantastic video of Decker. It shows how affectionate and friendly he is. I hope he finds his forever home soon.
ReplyDeleteWow. Kansas needs some law-changing! Paws crossed that Decker finds a home soon.
ReplyDeleteThat Kansas law about FIV cats is terrible. We're sure glad Wayside Waifs could take Decker in, and love him until he finds his forever home.
ReplyDeleteI give kisses so so what you see isn’t always what you get. MOL! I hope Decker will find his furever home. I found mine.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Decker and we hope a forever home is found soon. Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
