Sunday's Shelter Sweetie: Serena

"Hello! My name is Serena. I came here to Great Plains with my brother after our owner passed away. My brother and I were both so sad - suddenly, here we were without a home, and without the purr-son we loved so much."

"My brother has found his forever home, but for some reason I'm still waiting. Some people say it's because of my black coat and that black kitties have a harder time finding forever homes.

Well, I don't understand why!!! I'm proud of my black coat, and I take very good care of it. I get lots of compliments on it, too. They say it goes with my pretty eyes. And anyway, it's what's inside that counts.

I'm a loving (if sometimes opinionated) girl - but honestly, who isn't??

I who would love to have a new purr-son or family to take care of. I love to run to you and rub in between your legs. I am very treat motivated. Most of all, though, I just want someone to love and be patient with me.

My ideal adopter would be an experienced cat owner that is understanding of my sassy personality. (Yes, I confess, I may have a bit of a 'tude, but that just makes me less boring, right?)
